COVID-19 CONSIDERATIONS
Prior RV experience is preferred to help streamline the in-person checkout process and to help prepare you for possible unexpected circumstances while traveling.
The RV will be thoroughly disinfected prior to & after your rental.
Rental checkout and training will be provided with masks (required).
Renter is responsible for researching & booking accommodations & routes. Electrical hookups are recommended.
Please stay on top of changes regarding restrictions, park closures, state quarantines, campsite availability, etc. prior to and during your trip.
Please have backup plan ready in case circumstances change during your trip.
Book ahead, be flexible and stay safe!
RATES
Standard rate is $225/day (4 day minimum). Includes 100 miles/day, complete housekeeping setup, one tank of propane fuel, generator allotment and more. RESERVATIONS
A 20-40% ($400.00 minimum) Refundable Reservation Fee is required to secure your reservation based on your approved application. This fee will be applied directly toward your rental. Reservation Fee is refundable (less 15% for processing) if your reservation is cancelled more than 30 days in advance. No refund if cancelled less than 30 days prior. Email Airstream Coach for info.

DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
Each Renter/Driver must provide a copy of their valid driver’s license for verification along with their rental application. Must be 25 years of age or older to rent/operate the Vehicle. Must show proof of insurance. First driver included. Additional Drivers are $25/each. Application must be received 24 hours prior to checkout to allow time for review.
PAYMENTS
Final payment of all rental charges, along with your rental deposit, is due prior to Vehicle check-out. Payment must be made in U.S. Dollars. Major Credit Cards are accepted. Personal checks are accepted if received 2 weeks in advance and cleared prior to due date.
DEPOSIT
A $1500 refundable Deposit is required along with your rental payment. Applicable charges for damages, losses, cleaning, dumping, extra mileage, fines or fees, etc. may be deducted from the Deposit after your return. A larger deposit is required for longer trips which include interstate or cross country travel.
PICKUP & RETURN TIMES
Checkout/Return times are determined on a case by case basis. Rentals must be picked up and returned on the date/time specified in the Rental Agreement. Late charges ($100/hr) will be assessed if the Vehicle is returned late. No refunds will be given for early returns or “No Shows”.
VEHICLE ORIENTATION
Renter must participate in Vehicle Orientation prior to renting the Vehicle. Orientation will cover the Vehicle, its equipment and all systems appropriate to the client’s rental needs.
MILEAGE
Standard rentals include a cumulative mileage allotment of 100 miles per day. Additional miles will be charged at the current rate of .75 per mile. “No Frills” rentals do not include free miles.
GENERATOR
First 5 hours of generator usage, per week, are free. Additional hours will be billed at $5.00/hour.
FUEL
Vehicle is provided with full tank of diesel fuel and must be returned full to avoid additional charges. DIESEL ONLY. Fuel price may vary.
WASTE TANK
Vehicle is provided with an empty waste tank and must be returned empty to avoid additional charges. Dump fee: $75.
NO SMOKING
Smoking is NOT permitted in the Vehicle at any time. Cleaning and fumigation fees will be charged if evidence of smoking is found and may result in the forfeiture of your entire rental deposit.
PETS
Pets are NOT permitted in the Vehicle without prior written consent of the owner, except as otherwise provided under the law. Daily pet fees apply. Additional cleaning fees may apply if evidence of pet hair, odors or damage is found.
CLEANING
Renter agrees to return the Vehicle in a similar clean condition as it was received or cleaning fee will apply ($65/hr).
INSURANCE, DAMAGE & DEDUCTIBLES
Renter is responsible for any damage or loss during their rental and is required to provide proof of primary insurance coverage for all drivers. We do not sell insurance. Coverage may be purchased from MBA Insurance which specializes in RV Rentals. Or, provide binder coverage thru your auto insurance policy. Renter is responsible for all premiums, deductibles and any damage or loss not otherwise covered by insurance.
SUPPLEMENTAL LIABILITY INSURANCE
Renter may purchase Supplemental Liability Insurance directly through MBA Insurance. Additional Personal Accident & Personal Effects Insurance is also available. Contact: www.MBAsli.com.
TRAVEL INSURANCE

SEATING CAPACITY
Five standard safety belts are installed in the Vehicle, two in front, three side-facing lap belts in back. Renter is responsible for the safety of all passengers when operating the Vehicle. Use of Safety Belts is required when the Vehicle is in motion.
CHILD SAFETY SEATS
Child Safety seats are NOT provided with the Vehicle. Airstream Coach makes no representation, guarantee or warranty that the vehicle meets any state or federal requirements for installation of child safety restraint devices. Renter is responsible for the safety of all passengers when operating the Vehicle. Use of Safety Belts is required by all passengers at all times when the Vehicle is in motion.
DELIVERY
Deliveries and pickups are considered on a case-by-case basis for an additional cost. Please inquire.
NO ONE-WAY RENTALS
Sorry, we do not offer one-way rentals at this time.
TOWING POLICY
Using the Vehicle for towing is not permitted without express authorization from Airstream Coach Rentals.
TIRES
Renter is responsible for tire damage not caused by normal wear and tear.
PROHIBITED DESTINATIONS
Travel to Mexico is strictly prohibited.
“Burning Man” festival (Black Rock City) rentals are strictly prohibited.
COLD WEATHER CAMPING
Camping in freezing temperatures is prohibited as this could endanger both yourself and the vehicle. If you expect freezing temps, contact our staff to schedule a vehicle “winterization” no less than 3 days in advance. This will prevent burst pipes, plumbing leaks, pump failure, etc. Snow chains may be required in some areas. Check weather forecasts ahead of time. Prepare a backup plan in case weather conditions disrupt your itinerary. Travel Insurance is recommended.
GPS TRACKING
The Vehicle may be equipped with global positioning satellite (“GPS”) technology or another telematics system and/or an event data recorder to allow for tracking.
